It is relatively recent that the technology we all rely on today, computers and software and communications, has been developed, with the power contained in a modern pc being unbelievable ten years ago. If you think back to the 1980s there were no cheap powerful computers and no internet. Communications were achived using wired telephone lines not wireless or cellular. And the software used on computers was very simple. Now however we have pcs in our homes which could run countries and software which can do mamazing things.
