Some Considerations on Buying a Metal Detector
Posted in Uncategorized
Metal detectors can discover objects hidden to about twelve inches beneath the surface. The useful depth is dependant on on a number of factors, for example the type and quality of the detector, the metal type, the size of the object and the soil composition. Dirt with a high mineral content will hinder detection and decrease the depth penetration. Other metals may also get in the way. Before you buy a machine take into account the location where you will be using it. If you are only going to be hunting on land it would be a waste of money buying a submersible detector. Some machines are better for finding silver for instance than gold. Set out by checking out the different types of treasure hunting we’ve detailed here and see which one you think you would enjoy. Look for good quality metal detectors such as Bounty Hunter Metal Detectors or Garrett Metal Detectors.
